Paollo Serrano breathes and exhales gay fantasies all over the metro as he sizzles local showbiz when he was introduced as one of the VIVA HOT MEN (at least as far as i can remember).

The guy who rides the big bike is now one of the silver screens hottest indie actors that sets your boob tubes on fire.  He doesnt have any qualms with gay roles including M2M Masahe series and straight to video ‘Paolo Rivero Versus Paolo Serrano’. his real name is Paul Patrick Rodil Gruenberg or popularly known as Polo Ravales.  born June 27, 1982 in Manila, Philippines, Polo has surely captivated the Filipino gay audience after his reupholstered image from teeny bopper to one hot sexy actor.

 

really…i dont even give a damn when he started out his career in showbiz.  He was included on shows such as TGIF, Anna Karenina and Click.  during that time, i adore Red Sternberg.  Red has this makulit and almost gay-ish image hahahahahaha.  I dont know what happen but he suddenly disappered from the spotlight.  I thought he migrated back to Germany …

 

until he came back with a new well toned sexy persona that everyone takes a second look….is he Polo ‘fatty’ Ravales??  YES!!! he was a fatty before but boy look at how the endless gym workout brings to the table….

 

And how i adore his pictorial with F&H….praises, praises, praises!  i almost break my neck when i stare at his HUGE billboard in Edsa!! Gawd…. he is one PAPA-ble Polo Ravales!

JC DE VERA: the boy next door could make me sweat

as in YES,  if he were living next door, i may have been crossing those picket fences just to see him.  I would try to sneak on his bedroom windows even if its located on the third floor.  I would try to emulate spiderman and crawl those steep walls.  i think it will be worth the effort.

JC De Vera is one the of the Philippines young actor with string of succesful afternoon drama series based from blockbuster movies in the early 90′s.  This includes ‘Babangon akot dudurugin kita’, ‘pasan ko ang daigdig’ and ‘pati ba pintig ng puso’ opposite local actress Yasmien Kurdi.  He even have had a series of tele-movie for a month as he tried more serious roles.  I have posted a scene from one of his tele-movie wherein he portrays the role of a macho dancer which you may find below.

what can i say about jake cuenca???

 

god….im simply speechless. a young actor/model who jumps from one network to another, got a break and finally found fame.  From then on, he doesn’t show any sign of stopping.  from teeny bopper supporting roles to big time primetime series, jake cuenca can finally say ‘I ARRIVED’.

 

no doubt about it, he finally arrived which is evident with his Edsa billboards which plastered his face and body wearing underwear…(via bench underwear ad series) and various endorsement deals.  (i think he had caused a lot of stiff necks by that time his billboards are still in Edsa!!!  hahahaaha…ouch my neck)

 

cuenca simply oozes with sex appeal….his dark gazes and physique that could create shrieks and shrills amongst ladies and gays.  he can simply tease you with his provocative gestures and poses. (just look on the pre-‘palos’ pictures below…yummy).  i still remember the first time i spotted him at gateway mall while shopping.  i bet he was younger by that time but you can almost see the potential…. he is simply a head turner…as everyone couldnt simply miss this hunk.

He is one of the most bankable sexy stars in local cinema in the early 90’s who stars on various films including Talong (eggplant),  Aray! Leonardo Litton has a certain boyish charisma that has surely captivated the fantasies of both women and gay men.  I should know…. because i still have his G magazine pictorial that i kept in a box.  Marami rin kaming pinagsamahan ng magazine na yun kung saan siya ang cover… bringing back old memories.

 

His last name may have ring a bell since its patterned with a famous local columinist and host – Johnny Litton but he has surely made a mark in the local industry as one of the most ‘daring’ starlets.  Bakit naman hindi…may ipapakita naman eh.

WILL SANDEJAS: Laguna’s tempting delight

23 years old WILL SANDEJAS, (Kristian Tanfelix in real life) is a by-product of numerous bikini and male pageants before joining local showbiz. He landed first runner-up at the Metro Bar Bikini Open and proclaimed winner of Fashion Quest 2006 held at the Pearl of Manila Hotel. He also joined Upstyle Modeling Agency’s Style Eyecatchers Model Search, where he was declared as a winner in one of the search editions.

This ‘probinsyano’ and dusky looker from Laguna finished a special course for caregivers to work abroad in the future.  But of course, who can resist the lure of spotlight and celebrity charms as he joins the local showbiz bandwagon. Three indie films are tucked under his belt including Troika with Janvier Daily, Sikil with Ken Escudero and his upcoming film Kumpisal.  At such an early stage in his showbiz career, Sandejas won the nod of critics when he was even nominated for his role in SIKIL for Best New Actor for the 24th Star Awards. (Bravo!!!)

Aside from acting, Will was once the lead vocalist of Replay Band and joined the local version of American Idol aptly called PINOY IDOL wherein nakasama siya hanggang TOP 12.  Di lang sa akting magaling, pati na rin sa pagkanta.

where art thou? KEN ESCUDERO’s ‘BOLD’ move

Ginoong Filipinas and our official delegate for Mr. International (2006) KEN ESCUDERO ‘boldest’ move as he debuted in the gay indie film ‘SIKIL’ with Will Sandejas.  in this film, he plays the role of Enzo, who is secretly in love with his childhood friend which was played by Sandejas.  how i wish i have been able to provide you more info regarding this guy (i.e. age, school, hobbies, aspiration etc.) but i think there is a scarcity of data about this fine fellow.

But no one can resist his ‘boyish’ charms may have won the judges nod as he was proclaimed as Mr. Photogenic at 2006 Mr. International which also led him to be one of the six semi finalist of the said pageant.  (sandali, parang andaming number ’6′ na involve sa sentence na yun…eeep)

‘theres a boy i know, and his the one im dreaming of…’

its a song from the 80′s that i could finally use to descirbe a boy whom we all knew as DINGDONG DANTES.   Yup, one remarkable actor who have waited for the right time till his stars shines brighter!  Born as Jose Sixto Gonzales Dantes III, is an award-nominated director/actor, born August 2, 1980 who rarely answers issues and controversies who remains to be too private as a celebrity.  A man of few words, i should say and let his work speak for himself.  Currently, he is one of the most popular & highest paid actors in the Philippines, and is also one of the highest paid underwear model in the country.

Dingdong started as a KFC model in the 90′s and a part of Abztract Dancers.  Their group became a regular of local TV shows including the longest running lunch show EAT BULAGA and talent program THATS ENTERTAINMENT. He once then a part of another local network IBC 13 before he transferred to his current mother ship GMA 7.  As an actor, he debuted on GMA netwroks highly popular youth-oriented flick T.G.I.S. (Thank God It’s Sabado) credited himself as Raphael Dantes when he was seventeen. His role as the dashing boy-next-door Iñaki was massively well received and contributed much to his growing popularity. Almost immediately, Dantes was already a growing sensation. His pairing with Antoinette Taus, whom he was romantically involved with, spun films like Honey My Love So Sweet and I’m Sorry My Love and other television outings including Anna Karenina. It wasn’t long before Taus left to pursue a film and recording career abroad, by that time, their relationship had ended and Dantes ventured as a solo artist.

In March of that same year, he debuted as the Bench’s newest image model who was rumored as the ‘highest paid underwear celebrity’.  He was then formally launched as image model for Bench Underwear in the “Bench Blackout Underwear and Denim Fashion Show.” A few weeks after being launched by Bench, he was also launched by Ibuprofen Medicol as their newest endorser, MyPhone, Grand Matador, Belo Medical Group and many other companies started showing interests in getting him as their endorser.

E!: DINGDONG DANTES hinirang na ‘sexiest men in the WORLD’

 

Dindong looks beyond the islands

 

Dingdong Dantes was chosen by E! Entertainment as one of the ’25 Sexiest Men of the World’.   Reportedly, he joins the ranks of hunky actors, models, and sportsmen, including soccer player David Beckham.

Accoding to the said post, “Charlene Sakoda, the executive producer of E! Entertainment Television in Los Angeles, California has been exchanging notes and calls to the manager of one of the hottest popular actors in the Philippines today—Dingdong Dantes. E! Entertainment is one of the largest and most popular networks in Hollywood and the most subscribed network around the world, which is available to 88 million subscribers in the U.S. and 600 million homes internationally.”

E! Entertainment decided to have Dingdong as the only Filipino celebrity to be included on their list. He will be featured in one of the special segments of E! through an interview.  Although E! also eyed another Filipino talent, the network people all rooted for Dingdong. The final choice came from the president of E! Entertainment, who personally chose Dingdong on the list.

Part of the letter stated: “I can assure you that we are only looking to glorify Dingdong Dantes and will only mention him and your footage in a positive light. The show is scheduled to air in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2008. We do not have a more specific time frame as of yet.”
