whenever I go out and pick my orders for my beloved customers, I always make it to a point that I plan well.
I plan every minute of my waking hours so it would not go to waste. If ever, may schedule ako that I always keep so that I would never missed any errands I have to do for the day.
It includes work out in Ghericos at Forbes, then a slight window shopping at a nearby market while texting my supplier to calculate my orders para pagdating ko ay check ko na lang yung items then pay for it. I also include a few minutes para magtanong ng latest brochures and promo’s that I could share sa mga patrons ko then … before I head home, I visit our local bank.
BPI family bank has always been my first and only choice. Ive been a loyal patron since I don’t know when. I opened up my account in BPI Hemady since malapit lang yun dati sa work. Then of course, after I left my previous employer I stick with BPI Espana since its convenient and near my place.
Even my first and only credit card came from BPI. Other banks telemarketer love to dial my land line to the extent na halos ipamigay na nila ang cards nila. Some are a bit adventurous by sending me one pero they all fail kasi pinadadala ko sa kanila na putol putol na rin (hehehehehe).
Para sa akin, im not obligated to bend on my knees if im not even using their banking services.
So going back to the original story… it was one faithful morning. It may have been the smell of my breath or the way I look by that time – since Im from different locations by that time and im carrying four huge DAKKI bags by that time full of orders from my customers, I went ahead an dropped by BPI Espana.
I mean the sweat, traffic and haggardness in my face that led this security guard think that im somehow a ‘criminal’
They usually have long sticks and they let you open up your bags for inspection. Im all for that… napaka-cooperative ko. I see to it na if ever sasakay ako ng LRT and may dala akong shoe boxes, I drop my bags sa table and isa isa kong bubuksan ang mga dala ko.
Ganon ako ka-cooperative… I don’t take it against them kasi its their job.
Aba..teka muna…itong security sa BPI Espana…KAKAIBA! Siguro, he did judge me on how I look or how I smell. Without asking my permission, hindi ko pa naibaba yung 4 na malalaking DAKKI BAGS na dala ko…. ABA BIGLA BA NAMANG HINABLOT YUNG POUCH BAG NA NASA HARAP KO AT PINISIL PISIL.
The girl behind me is even surprised of what the security guard have done.
I felt violated and humiliated!!!! Though I may have looked somehow off from the ordinary during that day, it doesn’t mean im a criminal or whatever!!!! I told the teller of what had happened and she were accommodating and symphatetic on what happened. She immediately informed her superior and their bank manager would like to settle the ‘scene’ right there and then…
I felt that by that time… I could just say “YES… IHARAP MO SA AKIN ANG GUARD NA YAN NG MATURUAN NG LEKSIYON…”
Pero nag-dalawang isip ako. Umiral pa rin sa akin ang awa if ever mawawalan siya ng trabaho or mabigyan siya ng memo from the said employer. Baka mawalan pa siya ng trabaho and naisip ko na lahat tayo minsan ay nagkakamali.
Baka nga kasi mukha akong mabaho by that time kaya napagkamalan niya akong masamang tao… Kaya I told the bank manager to reprimand the guard, buy scanners or long sticks instead so these type scenarios would not happen again.
You may be asking…anu ba ang ginawa ko sa bangko by that time…. nag deposit ako ng pera at kung magkano…ako na lang ang nakakaalam. Sabihin na lang natin na pwede akong bumili ng isang flat screen TV in one go.
HOW BIG?
