Facebook just celebrated its 10 years anniversary and one way of celebrating such phenomenal success that last for more than a decade, they treated their followers and FB users with a video that looks back on our so-called life.  I wanted to post it in my blog but im no techie (anyone who could help me please)

I can’t say that what I gone through is a “bed of roses”.  Ive been to hell and back and definitely, im still working my ass-off to be a “better” me.  Im not perfect, I make mistakes in the past – I only hope that if ever it bites me once again… im prepared to fight back. But there are NO REGRETS.  I never regretted any single moment.  It makes me what I am today and if ever people judge me of they see in facebook,  what they read on this blog and what they had discovered in cyberspace… I took them all accounted as who I am.

On the first place, who are they to judge me.  They don’t feed my family, I don’t ask a single shilling out from their pocket.  My past may have been jaded and dark but what is important is what I am NOW. Without those single moments, I won’t get any wiser – I won’t be here.

I got #mail

I got a private message from one of the indie actors that I once featured on my blog.  He was asking if I could delete all of his pictures I tagged on my blog.  He did properly introduced him self as Will Sandejas.  His message found below:

I did responded and uttered “you know for a fact that i’m not the only one who featured you on their blogs..”

He politely answered “oo nga po eh…” and said “ iniisa isa ko na nga po sila”

I just finished editing 6 posts that shows his pictures and a post that I kept private.  I fully understand his dilemma but we are on a cyberage of what you may have done in the past may no longer be deleted.  Deep in my heart, I hope for the best – for Will’s family, friends and his inner peace.

Learning Life 101 (finale)

I’ve heard its possible to grow up,

I’ve just never met anyone who’s done it.

Were all like children… we throw tantrums when things don’t go our way;

we cry in our rooms when the pain gets too tough;

we yearn for innocence when life throws reality,

and like children… we hope and keep on hoping

At times I’m sad about what’s going on in my life…

but I always believe in one permanent fact:

everything changes and tomorrow is definitely different… am hoping that it’ll be different

I don’t believe in the word ‘REGRET’, I believe in the phrase ‘I screwed up, I learned from it and hope for the best’

Trials in life are like washing machines.

They twist us, spin us and knock us around

but in the end, we come out cleaner, brighter and better than before

You can’t predict what gonna happen…but sometimes the thing you didn’t expect is what you really wanted after all.

Maybe the best thing to do is stop trying to figure out where you’re going and just enjoy where you’re at.

Its better not to mind the things that depresses you.

Because it only makes you weak inside and out.

There’s a lot of things you can give your time into.

Don’t get stuck with the things that ruins your day…

just chill and live your life

Whenever you feel weak, remember those who make you stronger

& whenever you start to doubt yourself, remember those who believe in you

Sometimes we put too much passion on the biggest dreams and priorities in life that we fail to love the smallest pleasures from simple things.

We search so much for the right choices,

for the right paths to walk through,

for the right reasons…

but life isn’t about searching for the right things that can be found…

it is about letting the unexpected happen and finding things you never searched for.

In  tough times, stay motivated by looking at how far you’ve come, rather than how far you have to  go. Always count your blessings, not what’s missing.

Dont regret the things you’ve done.

Regret the things you didnt do when you had the chance.

When life is hard to deal with, just remember thisnever give reason to stop and be quiet but remember, a brave soldier also know when to wave his white flag

Learning Life 101 (part 7)

A great life is not about routine but doing something rare.
Laugh at your mistakes but learn from them.
Have fun with your difficulties but overcome them
The paradox of lie: everybody wants to live a long life, but nobody wants to get old.
Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die.
And nobody seems to realize that in our life’s journey no one has ever reached the finish line … ALIVE!!
Seek the highest wisdom not by arguments of words but by perfection of our life… not by speech but by faith that comes from simplicity of the heart.
Unconsciously, we choose how we see people: when we like someone, we are tolerant.
When we don’t, we focus on their faults.
Its not other peoples true persona that determines how we feel about them…its our attitude.
Have the courage to be the person you want to be . it doesn’t matter how crazy your dream is. It is your life, you and only you can dictate how to live it. Life it your way, laugh or smile everytime you have the chance. Keep your cool, face life with youthful optimism and mature understanding. Stay safe but learn to take risks sometimes. Try out something new once in a while so you don’t stagnate. You are the master of your fate and the captain of your soul. You’re a child of god, therefore you are loved and beautiful. Live life to the fullest
In life we always search for answers because we want to prove ourselves that we made the right decisions but the truth is we cant search for whats not there. Things happen because its meant to happen.
That’s why we forgive people even if they hurt us, we love people who don’t love us and we smile despite every painful crash in our hearts. At the end of the day the lessons you get are the answers to your decisions
In your life, youll take note of a lot of people.
Ones with whom you shared something special, who will always mean something. Your 1st kiss, first love, the one who 1st broke your heart, the one you’ll put on pedestal, the one your with right now and the who got away.
That person with whom everything was perfect but timing was just wrong. No fault in the person, no flaw in the chemistry, but the cards just don’t fall the right way
Our lives are books… each day is a page. We cant erase what has already been written, but we can always try to make the next page better
The measure of a matured person is not how well they prepare for everything to go right but on how they stand up and move on after everything goes wrong
I used to think that GOD’s gifts were on shelves one above another…the older we get and the taller we grow, the easier we can reach them.
Now I realize that GOD’s gift are on shelves one beneath another… the lower we stoop the more we get. It is good deeds we do, the kind words we speak, the love we give and the humility we show that help us stoop down tofind our real treasures
I’ve heard its possible to grow up, ive just never met anyone who’s done it. Were all like children…we throw tantrums when things don’t go our way, we cry in our rooms when the pain gets too tough, we yearn for innocence when life throws reality, and like children…we hope..and keep on hoping

Learning Life 101 (part 6)

herewith is the 6th series of Learning Life 101.  Hoping for your enlightenment!

True strength of character is not just calculated by how well we manage to carry some sizable load under challenging situations, but is perhaps better measured by our ability to remain kind and light spirited..

even when were sure that we cant bear the weight of one more ounce of life…

Why do we have repeated experiences?

It’s because repeated experiences have one aim: – to teach the thing you refuse to learn.

A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable but more useful than a life spent in doing nothing

Some won’t appreciate what you say or do…

but as long as you speak honestly from the heart and let them see who you really are, you’ll be fine.  This is not a perfect world; this is not a perfect life.  So live life the way you want because no matter what you do, people would never run out of something to say

When you’ve done something wrong, admit it and be sorry

No one has ever choked to death from swallowing his pride.

Life involves a fight, a race and a test.  When things get tough, remember your identity.

You’re a fighter, you’re a finisher, and you’re a faithful conqueror of GOD

The hardest lessons and problems in life are also the most precious ones… you know why?

They force us to face our weaknesses and fears

But above all, they unleash hidden strengths we never know we had

In my existence, I realized that happiness is a very subjective factor in once life.  Being happy doesn’t depend on achieving what you want, but rather making the best out of what is give.

Life isn’t fair, it never was… the only thing that can make you completely happy is contentment.  Be content on what you achieve, but be sure to aim high and never stop believing you can do better every time.  But if all else fails, don’t forget that an ordinary you has an extraordinary GOD to back you up.

Life only becomes meaningful when we live it with purpose, when we survive every trial and anticipate positively every tomorrow with hope and dedication

A humble person is like a lighthouse… it doesn’t ring bells nor fire guns to call attention to its luminance…it merely shines.

An Easter Sunday while Learning Life 101 (part 5)

The holy week has finally ended in a happy tune with bunnies and colored eggs flustered all over the city.  As I spend the whole black Saturday at home (with NO booze, comrades, alcohol or boys to boot) as part of my sacrifice for the year, I realize that I need to open up the day with ‘positive energy’ and appreciating life in general.  So here goes the part 5 of LEARNING LIFE and I hope you had a Great Easter.

Cherish the times when you seem so different for other, those are the times when you can get their full attention.

Cherish the times when others criticize you, those are the times when you effortlessly make them tired.

Cherish the times when you feel alone and lost, those are the times when you realize how important others are and when you they look for, that’s the time when you realize you really matter.

Sometimes the best thing in life were hidden beneath the worst circumstances.

If you don’t act foolish while you are young,

you wont have anything to smile about when your older.

Never hate the times in life where you have fallen or failed.  Though it’s hard to accept, these are the times wherein we stand back up and show the world that failures don’t define us…but it is what makes us stronger

If you have your chance now, take it.  If you want something, don’t let anyone stop you.

Don’t leave your life up to fate or destiny or whatever.  It’s always your choice and take charge.  Do what you can now, do what makes you happy and hell with the consequences.  If you got bitten, then you’ll know it wasn’t for you.  At least there wont be any regrets or ‘what if’’s’.

There’s always a risk, but not taking that risk is an even bigger risk.

We always ask if there’s still hope left or if there still time.

But we never realize that hope only leaves when we doubt it

and time only runs out the moment we give up

Rivers don’t think drink the water, they carry.

Trees don’t eat the fruit they bear

Clouds don’t bathe in the rain they produce

We are meant to give even if we get nothing from it.

Measuring life by what others do may disappoint us, but measuring life by what we do will make life meaningful.

Our lives are made up of a million moments spent in a million different ways.  Some are spent searching for love, peace and harmony.  Others are spent surviving day to day.  But there is no greater moment that when we find that life, with all its joys and sorrows, its meant to be lived one day at a time…

LESSON 57

Learn to appreciate what you have before time forces you to appreciate what you’ve lost.

There are things in life that we question a lot but we don’t realize that sometimes answers come when we stop asking

The greatest challenge in life is to survive.  All you need is the determination, whatever you’re up into or whatever your job or business it would be, be positive and you will excel.

To laugh is to risk appearing foolish…

To weep is to risk appearing sentimental…

To reach out for another is risk involvement…

To expose feelings is to risk exposing first true self…

To place ideas and dreams before a crowd is to risk ridicule…

To love is to risk not being love in return…

To live is to risk dying…

To hope is to risk despair…

To try is to risk failure and yet the person who risks nothing, does nothing, his nothing, ultimately becomes nothing.
