I bet you are preparing for a long vacation.  Here in the Philippines… we look forward for holy week.  Its 2-days off work starting Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

I know we Filipinos have an uncanny way of celebrating such holy festivity as we hit the beach and swimming pools with the skimpiest bathing suits ever.  But this is the longest holiday ever in a year.

Dont forget to bring your man candies on your tiny pink purse because i know ill do

One hot #summer with #TomRodriguez

i admit… im addicted to Tom Rodriguez!  i follow him in instagram and facebook.  Read anything about him in the internet and then some… so when Bench finally launch their Summer 2014 campaign – i just can help but post this (see below)

His GIFT to the the pink community!

I heart BORACAY!

isa na yata sa mga dream vacation ko ang Boracay.

why dream vacation? well, here are the three reasons ….

1. MAHAL NG PAMASAHE. really! i mean i cant even afford it.  i felt practicality wise, its not really meant for poor people like me kaya hanggang buntong hininga na lang ang kaya kong gawin habang nakamasid sa postcard na binebenta sa national bookstore.  i always have these notion that i would rather spend and pay for my bills rather than using it for luxury such as vacation.  PLUS if i had the opportunity to have the said amount, i would rather go to Hongkong or Singapore since the price rate for plane ticket is almost of the same value.

2. GRABE COST OF EXPENSES PAG NASA BORACAY KA NA.  accommodation, food etc. These are things that i have thought of.  first class foreign destination trip ang boracay and i felt its hard for me to survive such luxurios vacation.  parang hindi naman pwedeng mag tent ka na lang basta basta sa boracay at matulog sa buhanginan.  baka kami sawayin a pauwiin ng di tama hehehehehe.

3. WALA AKONG KASAMA. due to huge expenses that may cost me my arm and a leg, no one would even accompany me in this zany and expensive adventure.  most especially in these trying times wherein you cant afford to waste a single centavo.

so when the opportunity comes when my longtime friendship from Kuwait ask me to accompany her for a trip in Boracay – (all expense paid, huh!), i immediately prayed in high heaven and tried my Nth power and charm for a 4 day vacation leave.

And the heaven may have heard my silent and convincing prayers as one of my colleague (Deepee thank you) backed out from her VL and gave the ‘thing’ entirely to me.  Which my team lead Marei (Thank you!) has supported and signed!

So my beauty is off to my dream island – Boracay and nothing could stop me!  ika nga, harangan man ako ng sibat at kanyon…go go go sa boracay!

Sa Boracay, there are a lot of fascinating things i have seen, witnessed, tasted and experienced.  Boracay is such a dream paradise.  Parang isang ‘real life postcard’.  napakaganda pala ng Pilipinas and my mom is right, that there are no other place like Boracay.

so here are some of the highlights of my trip and the FUN things you can do in the dream paradise which we call – BORACAY!

SIYEMPRE, other than the scenery sa POOKAH ISLAND, sobrang sarap rin ng pagkain dito. make sure na kumain na kayo ng seafoods dahil super fresh and sobrang sarap ng kanilang ihahain. just try to forget your diet. Just be careful sa mga souveneir vendors dahil some of them are untrustful.

wala sana akong ganitong post ngayun and you may have been reading something different like ‘how my sister have had her eczema…’ hahahahahha.  Salamat INGRID…..mwah mwah mwah  Sobrang saya ng vacation natin.  Thank you rin kay Karen, because if she didnt gave up the trip, i may NOT have been on this adventure.  To TL Marae who fought for the approval.  Salamat po sa inyong lahat …..(pahingi ngang tissue…baka maiyak ako)

SAAN KAYA ANG SUSUNOD NA ADVENTURE KO?  HMMMMMM  ESEP….ESEP….ESEP…..

10 things ‘’YOU-SHOULD-HAVE’’ when going to BORA!

Going to Bora is a delight…. It’s the primary destination and its my first experience siyempre.  The promise of the Philippine Tourism that its ‘one remarkable’ tourist destination is a well fulfilled testimonial.  I cant just say anything but truly AMAZING!!!

But of course, once you packed your bags and it is also your first time, I hope that you would take this tips in consideration especially if you would like to have be ‘gay and fabulous’ in the Bora shores.  So read below my dear and I bet you will find it intersting and somehow helpful.

1. Anti-mosquito lotion – aside from the fact that you NEED bring your ever reliable suntan lotion and cream, you MUST also bring anti-mosquito repellent lotions as well or else these parasites will have a field day!  Baka gusto mong maaga ang new year at magkaroon ka ng instant polka dots sa katawan dahil sa kagat ng lamok hahahahahaha

2. Diatabs and bonamine – be practical!  Im not saying that you may catch diarrhea or you may puke when traveling (especially if you’ll travel via Asian Spirit), better have the formidable twins just in case.  So before you travel…better raid your mothers medicine box and pop some Bonamine kung mahihiluhin ka sa byahe and kapag nagtatae – diatabs siymepre!

3. Ipod and a portable speaker – how I wish brought along my portable speaker so I would have played some of my fave bossa songs inclung ‘so nice by stacey kent’, ‘para sa akin by sitti’ and ‘banhos by monica vasconcelos’

4. BPI credit card – yup! May BPI ATM machine sa boracay!!!  I swear, ng makita ko yung machine, parang nagliwanag ang langit at umawit ang mga anghel sa lupa!!!!  I LOVE BPI sobra…..

5. digicam – but of course…you don’t want to miss those Kodak moments.  Mahirap na ang maingit habang ang mga kasamahan mo pose dito, pose doon ang ginagawa.

6. condom and lubricant – dapat parang boy scout, always handa!  O kaya parang sundalo, handang lumaban at labasan sa kahit anong gera! Ahahahahhahahaha

7. Betadine and cotton – sabihin na natin, napaka OC ko pagdating sa first aid and napakalmpa ko pong talaga BUT its better be prepared.  Twice akong nasugatan while in Bora – dahil sa sobrang kalasingan…and too bad, the moment I asked for first aid…the front desk doesn’t have any.  Buti na lang, im like wolverine.  I have self healing powers!

8. sun visors – as soon as I arrived in bora, I tried to look for a sun visor.  You know,  a sort of cap pero butas sa may bumbumbunan so your hair could freely feel the breeze pero di ka masisilaw sa araw.  It is often used by tennis players. Unfortunately, wala akong nahanap.  Mukhang hindi IN sa bora kay if I were you, bring one.

9. hair wax – yes…mga kaibigan.  Due to vanity reasons, I have to bring my hair wax.  I cant leave without it.  But of course im not using it during the day kung saan masarap mag-swemmeng.  Di naman ako ganon kabanidoso.  Pag gumugimk lang sa gabi and I need to feel my awesome’ self hehehehehe

10. binoculars –  aside from the fact you could use this for bird watching, but you could also use this para manilip ng mga distant aliens doing something something while on beach.  Or people who are cannodling even without them noticing.  Hahahahahaha.  Andami kayang ‘birds’ sa Bora na ansarap pagmasdan. HAHAHAHA

SPLASH MOUNTAIN escapade

due to the scorching heat of the summer, our ‘account’ have had the privelege to escape from the heat by threading our way to the scenic laguna with one destination in mind – SPLASH MOUNTAIN.  we are eternally grateful as our bosses gave us Monday as time off and be back on tuesday instead after a much needed break.

we left makati around 10:30AM and arrived at the area around 12PM (just in time for lunch).  it was festive and the food is delicious.  i cant help myself taking a second serving.  i maybe thin but i eat a truck load hahahahahha!  gosh…gotta loose some fat from my belly!

after lunch, we all have had our own room assignments.  Me and Francis is sharing to four more guys from another team.  i remember when i was still a kid when i have shared a room with my classmates because of an overnight camp for cub scout. yes dear…dont be amaze…i was a cub scout and i could still remember the song theme that night…‘ang ilaw ng kabis skawt ay ating sindihan…sindihan…sindihan walang hanggan’

me and my team mates cant even help the urge of liquor as they bought 4 bottles of generoso to a nearby store and snagged inside the resort.  as we await for their arrival, me and my friend deepee check out the swimming pool.  it was a huge resort with a giant slide right in the middle of it.  but, we didnt tried the slide because you have to pay another P100.  geesshhhh…..di pa pala kasama sa entrance fee namin yun. arrrghhhh!   as soon my team mates arrived, and so the party begins….and well, well, well…..a revelation to everyone.

so you could just imagine that we are all drunk just before dinner time.  some of my friends were nominated to the evening categories and two of my friends were dragged to participate for mr and ms prurocks. it was fun and exciting as we all bonded together.  it was like one HUGE happy family.

after the program, we cant wait to get back to our room to continue our own party.  we bought 6 more bottles of generoso and shared the liquor to almost everyone who crosses our room.  the story behind room 312 are all left in my brain cells and memory bank.  i could not reveal anything other than ‘OH MY GOD…I CANNOT BELIEVE IT ….HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH’

so here are some pictures that i could share to you…but of course ONLY the wholesome pictures though.  the ’scandalous’ images are all at http://www.allanworld.multiply.com but i bet you wont be able to see it NOT unless i invited you to take a glimpse!!!
